What is a Death Cafe?
It is simply where folks can gather together, drink tea, eat cookies and discuss your thoughts on what might happen in the next chapter.
It is:
– open to all faiths and beliefs
-relaxed and casual
-a great place to gather and get support
-an opportunity to share and honor
-a way to ask questions that others aren’t able to handle in your circle

It is not:
-a place for acute grief counselling (that can be arranged one-on-one)
-a place for judgement and rigid thinking
-weird or morbid or something that anyone should be ashamed about attending

There will be two evenings in January to accommodate as many people as we can. There is limited seating and pre-registration is required. $20 will be collected when you register for the event.
